Wyckoff Girls 12UA Softball Champions!

THE Wyckoff Girls 12UA Softball Team defeated Washington Township with a score of 3 TO 2 and were crowned the 2025 Bergen County 12UA champions!

They secured their spot in the July 27 championship game after beating a competitive opponent, Ramsey in the semi-final with the final score of 7 to 6.

The girls are students at Eisenhower Middle School. The roster includes Giada R., Isla Gabby L., Isla M., Annie M., Addie M., Joelle N., Maddie P., Emma P., Maddie S., and Savannah T.

The teammates enjoyed spending time together in the dugout prior to a game. They also enjoyed the support of family and friends who attended their games including super fan 80-year old Bill Jackson "Grandpa Newman."

Josh Bertelli (head coach), Crystal McGowan, Russ Meyers, Chris Schell, and Sean Powers provided coaching and rep talks.

"Coaching this team has been an incredible experience. With a 34-1 record heading into the championship game, these girls have shown unmatched dedication, grit, and heart all season long," said Coach Sean Powers. "Their chemistry on and off the field is something truly special. We couldn't be prouder of how they've represented Wyckoff — and the best part is, they're just getting started!"
